How about we leave this place alone and leave it to people who have taken care of this place with their hearts?
Solo trip day 7:
Cruise on the fjords and a hike to the other side of the mountain to see the beautiful ice fjord (think of a fjord but full of icebergs in white, blue, and crystals).
The thing is, you’d think that once you’ve since one big iceberg, you’re done. Perhaps it was just me but I couldn’t get enough of them.
And oh, wild berries.

Ice sheets that swallow the horizon. Fjords quiet enough to hear yourself think. Dog sleds cutting silent lines through fresh snow. 🇬🇱

Swipe through 20 shots of Kalaallit Nunaat — the name Greenlanders use for their own home — and you’ll start to see why the landscape is only the opening line.

The real story is who you meet along the way: fishermen who read the sea like a map, artists working out of tiny coastal towns, mushers who know exactly when the ice will hold and when to wait. They’re the ones who turn a trip through Greenland into something that stays with you.

One place, endless ways in: icebergs drifting through Disko Bay in summer, total silence and northern lights through the long polar winter. Hot springs, glacier walks, husky puppies, Viking ruins, and small-town dinners of fresh-caught mussels.

Wherever you land in this carousel, there’s a version of Greenland waiting for you.

As they say here: Ajunngilaq — everything is going to be alright.

Turns out that’s the best souvenir of all.

One last adventure in Greenland… and what a way to say goodbye. 🐋🇬🇱

Yesterday, on my final day in Nuuk, I headed out into the fjord hoping for one last bit of Arctic magic.

And then this happened.

Watching a whale disappear beneath the water before that magnificent tail rose against the Greenlandic landscape was a moment I won’t forget.

Four days of wild weather, boats, puffins, fishing, incredible landscapes and adventures I’ll be talking about for a long time.

Greenland, you’ve been spectacular. 💙

Some travel moments are planned. The best ones usually aren’t.

This was one of those days that felt slightly unreal — tiny boat, endless ice, no crowds, no noise, just Greenland doing its thing.

Still not entirely convinced this wasn’t Middle-earth. 🧊✨

😮‍💨My kinda dinner dates

Awesome day with backcountrygreenland here in Sisimiut! Catching our dinner (some massive Arctic cods) and then quadbiking all the way to their cabin in the backcountry.

You should definitely invite your partner, family or friends on an adventure like this – truly an authentic experience!

10/10 on fishing, the food and company 🤌🏽

📍Sisimiut edition 🤯

Falling in love with the mountain-roads of Sisimiut.

About a 160km track (The Arctic Circle Track). Just cruising on quads going in to catch some Arctic char, sleeping in a cabin, enjoying the resilience and quietness of the vast green mountains.

Welcome to Greenland – where enormous icebergs drift silently through the Arctic waters, carved from ancient glacial ice.

The iceberg that sank the Titanic in 1912 is believed to have originated from southwest Greenland before making its way into the North Atlantic. And standing here among these giants makes you realise just how incredible their journey can be.

Some of these icebergs have been forming for hundreds, even thousands of years before eventually breaking away from the glacier and beginning their journey out to sea.

And the scale? Honestly, impossible to comprehend until you see them in person.

This is 📍Ilulissat, Greenland – home to the spectacular Ilulissat Icefjord, where icebergs calve from the Sermeq Kujalleq glacier and make their way into the sea.

Would you travel this far to see it?

Save this for your Greenland bucket list 🤍
